Overview
Pausing lets you put your tweets on hold and come back to them later, without missing anything. Use pause when you need to focus without interruptions.
Pausing
By selecting Pause, either from the toolbar, the tweets menu or the keyboard shortcut (⌘-U), Syrinx will no longer display new tweets. All of your tweets are still retrieved in the background, but they will not be appended to your timeline, the dock icon badge will not change and no new tweets noises will occur. While paused, the paused icon will appear on the lower left corner of the dock icon.
Resuming
When you choose to pause Syrinx, the pause toolbar button will change to a resume button with a play triangle and the menu item will change to resume. Selecting either of these will process and display all the tweets that have been retrieved in the background while Syrinx was paused.
